What Kind of Farmer

What kind of farmer will you be?

One that grows corn or raises honeybees?

Maybe you like goats – now that could be fun!

Especially the babies, cute little ones.

Maybe you’ll grow popcorn. Does it grow on a stick?

Or maybe you’ll farm lollipops to lick, lick, lick.

If lollipops get too sticky and are too much work,

You could grow ferrets rolling in the dirt!

How about manatees? They’ll need a lot of water.

The same is true if interest lies in raising playful otters.

Without farmers, the world would stop.

And we would surely be lost without their crops.

So if you become a farmer, grow what is fun.

Because having a clear purpose is how life is best done.
